Shredded Neat has been ISO accredited since 2013, just one year after the company was formed and we are unusual in the shredding industry as we carry full ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accreditation.

ISO 9001

To gain ISO 9001 accreditation, our management systems must be of the highest quality and reliability, which means they are benchmarked against an external international standard and third party (externally) audited to ensure compliance.

This allows for the company to be qualified for larger tenders and well as ensuring we can ensure compliance with all UK legislation, including the new GDPR Regulations. Being certified to the standard ensures quality control and also sets the highest standards for other companies to aspire to.

ISO 14001

Our ISO 14001 accreditation provides a business with a certification to this international environmental management standard. AS in ISO 9001 this is externally audited and validated each year, we produce objective and targets each year to ensure the continued environmental improvement of our business as set out in our environmental policy.

This means that we can demonstrate our environmental sustainability and the robustness of our systems to ensure our services do not harm the environment, produce as little waste as possible and achieve the highest levels of recycling and re-use. These ‘green credentials’ are extremely difficult for companies to attain and we are very pleased to have held these accreditations without interruptions since just after we started the business.

A company with  ISO accreditation must adhere to the requirements of the standard, in order to stay certified.  Our ISO Certificate (copies of which can be provided on request) provide a guarantee of quality and performance for our customers.
